Herschel-Connected "Patriot Support" Called Into Question

Was Herschel Aware of Practices or Are His Ties Embellished?

Flowery Branch, GA: Fox 5 and the Associated Press released a story this weekend calling into question Herschel’s ties to Universal Health Services, the parent company of “Patriot Support,” which Walker has claimed to have had a founding role in.

Their research indicates that Herschel has grossly embellished his role in the organization, and has misrepresented it often as a non-profit. At all times he has been a hired spokesman, not the founder or any part in the start of the group. The report also reveals a mountain of disturbing allegations, a DOJ lawsuit, and $122 million settlement surrounding United Health Services’ practices of taking government funds in the name of supporting veterans.

“This report creates many questions that need answer, and only Herschel can do that,” said Josh Clark, candidate for Senate. “Not only does this investigation refute Herschel’s story of founding Patriot Support, but if the allegations are true it appears he made millions of dollars while veterans were harmed and taxpayers were defrauded.”

Clark continued, “I am surprised at Herschel’s silence on this issue since the story broke. Any non-celebrity candidate would be forced to answer these looming questions, not only about his business ties but about a biography he’s touted throughout a nationally watched political campaign. If the allegations about UHS are true and a candidate had knowledge of it, I’d almost guarantee it would disqualify them in the minds of most voters.”

“With one day left in this primary campaign,” Clark concluded, “I think Herschel ought to address this story and set the record straight. To my knowledge all of the candidates in this race have agreed to support the eventual nominee so that we can beat Raphael Warnock in November, but unanswered questions of this caliber could easily cast a shadow over our unified front. Time to speak up, Herschel.”
