It’s absolutely essential that we the people have complete confidence in our elections. I won’t shy away from this issue and give political answers! Yes, the 2020 election was stolen, and in Georgia ballot harvesting was at fault. While we can’t go back and change that, we can and should certainly learn from it, so cheaters can never again disenfranchise our voters!
The passage of Georgia’s Election Integrity Act in 2021 was a step in the right direction by making it easier to vote and harder to cheat. And I would hope that Democrats appreciate Republican’s demand for secure elections. After all, Pelosi pitched a fit in 2016, insisting the presidential election was stolen. In 2018, Stacey Abrahams again claimed the election was stolen and never conceded. It’s sad to see the double standard played out in the media.
