Momentum Piles On For Clark As Final Month Kicks Off
Polling, Grassroots Momentum Deliver Sharp Advantage
Flowery Branch, GA: As the U.S. Senate primary enters its final 30 days, Josh Clark holds a distinct polling and grassroots momentum. He garnered nearly a quarter of votes cast in the 9th District GOP straw poll, following a solid performance in the first primary debate. While poll numbers are typically inaccurate and easy to pad with well-worded questions or well-timed emails to supporters, overarching trend lines are hard to ignore.
“All across the state we’re hearing about our amazing volunteers,” Clark said. “They are putting up signs by the thousands and even media personalities admit you can’t go to an event without seeing dozens of volunteers in our campaign gear! I am blown away and humbled by sacrifice these folks are making to see our pro-liberty message reach every corner of the state.”
“The results of their hard work are undeniable,” continued Clark. “In just a few short months, we have risen significantly in the polling trends, and by God’s grace we are on track to win this primary! In our first debate, I was encouraged to hear that all of the candidates in our race agree on two primary objectives. First, we must replace Raphael Warnock’s rubber-stamp votes for Biden’s destructive agenda. Second, avoiding voters and transparency is not the right way to run a campaign! We must unite to nominate someone who will face the voters, answer the tough questions, and beat Warnock in November.
“As we enter the final month, I am reminded that many of my opponents have been in this race for over a year, spending lots of money just to find themselves in essentially the same spot. I have been in this Senate primary less than half that time, and our message has resonated with Georgians, sending us soaring in name recognition and polls.”
“In the spirit of unity for our conservative movement,” Clark continued, “I would ask my primary opponents to evaluate where we are in this race. Let’s take a hard look at what we can do to ensure that the right candidate who is ready to face the voters and has the momentum to beat Warnock this fall is the candidate that crosses the finish line on May 24. I firmly believe that my legislative record and our vibrant support across Georgia puts me right on track to beat the radical left on Election Day.
“The winner of our primary may well be the single vote that flips the Senate. We ought to start now supporting and building up the candidate that can face off with and beat the Democrat campaign machine! They’re going to need every bit of support from our wonderful conservative base. I am ready for the challenge and I ask my opponents to consider that as well.”
